Finished Hollow Form
Here are the pictures of my finished hollow form project! I ended up just taking them of it in the case because it was faster. For a better look at it in detail, here is the model I'm very happy with how it turned out, with this project my original inspiration was some kind of alien base that in large scale would look really cool, which I think I achieved with this model. I could see this being on a rocky cliffside with ocean waves crashing up against it on some kind of torrential rain planet. The biggest challenge I had with this model was getting the curved pillars to line up symmetrically. Since I used the bend tool I had a hard time controlling the curve fully so it didn't line up perfectly on either side, which caused me to spend most of my time doing little adjustments. I also really like the contrast between the slow curve of the pillars and the sharp geometric edges of the diamond.
